The beginning of 2023 has already brought great pride to DOREMI Music School, as our students achieved remarkable success at the prestigious Regional Music Competition held on January 7, 2023. Competing against some of the most talented young musicians in the region, our students showcased their dedication, skill, and passion for music.
Our participants, ranging from solo performers to ensemble groups, impressed the judges with their performances in various categories. A special congratulations to Mia Wang, a piano student at DOREMI, who won first place in the intermediate solo category for her expressive performance of Mozart's "Piano Sonata No. 16 in C Major." Another highlight was the DOREMI Youth Ensemble, which secured a second-place finish with their dynamic and cohesive performance of Dvorak's "Serenade for Strings."
These achievements are a reflection of the hard work our students put into their practice and preparation, as well as the guidance and support they receive from their teachers and families. Competitions like these are not just about winning; they are invaluable opportunities for our students to gain performance experience, receive feedback from esteemed judges, and grow as musicians and individuals.
