The new year at DOREMI Music School began on a high note with our annual New Year Concert, held on January 20, 2024. This event, eagerly anticipated by students, parents, and staff, showcased the incredible talent and hard work of our students across all age groups and instruments.
The concert featured a diverse program, from classical masterpieces to contemporary hits, reflecting the wide range of musical interests and expertise within our school. Highlights included a stunning piano solo by our advanced student, Alex Johnson, who performed Chopin's "Ballade No. 1" with breathtaking emotion and precision. Additionally, the newly formed DOREMI String Quartet received a standing ovation for their harmonious rendition of Beethoven's "String Quartet Op. 18 No. 4."
This year's concert also marked the debut of our collaborative performance project, where students from different disciplines came together to perform complex orchestral pieces. This initiative not only showcased the depth of our students' talents but also emphasized the importance of teamwork and mutual support in music.
